Sri Sri School of Yoga
Designed as a sanctuary for inner exploration, the Sri Sri School of Yoga is more than a building — it is an atmosphere. It stands at the intersection of architecture and meditation, a landscape carved for stillness, breath, and transcendence.
The architecture does not impose itself on the natural setting; instead, it humbly borrows from the contours of the land, from ancient proportions, and from the rhythm of human breath itself. Open yet anchored, sacred yet accessible — this is a place for return.

Design Walkthrough
You approach through a quiet, unbuilt arrival — a mindful pause. The movement through the school follows a mandala — layered circles of experience. The Patanjali Mantapa sits at the heart — a contemplative anchor built in proportion to ancient yogic geometries. From the Mantapa, views spill outward into teaching courtyards, shaded galleries, and outdoor platforms for meditation facing the forest. The built spaces are kept low, hugging the earth — like a whisper rather than a statemen.
